Which images were edited with AI, how our texts are prepared, and where we do not use AI.
This is a translation; the Dutch text prevails.
For transparency, we explain where and how AI is used on this website. This statement follows the transparency principle of the European Union AI Act (2024/1689).
Product photos
Most product photos are the manufacturers’ own photos. They only receive standard edits that do not change how the product looks, such as background removal, cropping and resizing.
For a small number of products without a suitable photo, the image was edited or recreated with AI based on a real photo of the product (for example, a mannequin was removed or replaced). The product page of these items states that the image was edited with AI. Colours, text, labels and small details may differ from the real product; the product’s datasheet and certificate prevail for technical information. People shown in these images are not real persons.

Texts and translations
Product descriptions, guides and the English and Dutch translations are prepared with AI assistance. Every text is checked by our team before publication, and Vertex Safety B.V. is responsible for the content. Technical values are taken from the manufacturers’ documents; AI is never asked to produce technical values.
News and posts
We may use AI to draft industry news and brand announcements. Such drafts are not published on the website or our social media accounts until our team has read and approved them.
Where we do not use AI
There is no chatbot on the website and no automated AI decisions are taken about you. Our team answers your quote and information requests. We do not use the details you send through the form to train AI.
Let us know
If an image or detail differs from the real product, write to besafe@vertexsafety.nl and we will correct it.
