What applies when you buy from us as a private person: prices, ordering, payment, delivery, your 14-day right of withdrawal, the statutory guarantee and complaints.
This is a translation; the Dutch text prevails.
1. Who we are

2. When these terms apply
These terms apply to every purchase you make in our webshop as a consumer (a private person not acting for a business). You can read, save and print them before you order. Business customers buy under our terms of sale.
3. Prices and offer
- All prices include Dutch VAT. Shipping costs are shown before you confirm the order.
- Product photos and descriptions are as accurate as we can make them; small differences in colour or packaging are possible. Obvious errors, such as a clearly wrong price, do not bind us.
- The offer is valid while stocks last.
4. Ordering
The contract is formed when you complete the order with the button that states you are obliged to pay. We confirm receipt of your order by email straight away. If we cannot deliver, we let you know and refund any amount you have paid within 14 days.
5. Payment
- You pay with one of the methods shown at checkout.
- Under Dutch law we cannot oblige you to pay more than half of the price in advance. If you prefer to pay the rest on delivery, tell us before you order and we will arrange it.
- Report any error in a payment or invoice to us without delay.
6. Delivery
- We deliver to the address you give us, within the EU. We aim to ship within a few working days; the expected delivery time is shown with your order.
- We deliver within 30 days at the latest. If we cannot, you may cancel the order free of charge and we refund you within 14 days.
- The risk of loss or damage stays with us until the goods are delivered to you or to someone you named.
7. Your right of withdrawal (14 days)
- You may cancel the purchase without giving a reason within 14 days of the day you, or someone you named, received the product. For an order delivered in several parts, the period starts when you receive the last part.
- To cancel, send us a clear statement within that period, by email to besafe@vertexsafety.nl or with the model form below.
- Return the product within 14 days after you told us, to the address we give you. You pay the cost of returning it.
- We refund everything you paid, including the standard shipping cost of the delivery, within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the payment method you used. We may wait until we have received the product back or you have shown that you sent it.
- During the period you may handle the product only as you would in a shop, to see what it is and whether it fits. If you use it more than that, we may charge the loss in value.
8. When the right of withdrawal does not apply
- Products in sealed packaging that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once the seal is broken, such as earplugs, disposable masks and respirator filters.
- Products made to your specifications, such as engraved or custom-made items.
We mark these products clearly before you order.
9. Statutory guarantee
Every product must be what was agreed and suitable for normal use (conformity). If it is not, you may ask for repair or replacement and, if that does not work, a price reduction or cancellation of the purchase. Tell us within two months of discovering the defect. A manufacturer’s warranty is extra and does not limit these statutory rights.
10. Safe use
Read the manual and safety information that come with the product before use. Protective equipment only protects when it fits and is used, maintained and replaced as the manufacturer prescribes.
11. Complaints
Send complaints, with your order number and if possible photos, to besafe@vertexsafety.nl. We confirm receipt and reply within 14 days; if we need more time, we tell you within that period when you can expect an answer.
12. Privacy
We use your details only to handle your order. See our Privacy policy.
13. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country. If we cannot solve a complaint together, you may take the dispute to the competent court.
