FLOATING SMOKE GENERATOR
Distress signal for daytime use. Can be used safely if there is petroleum, fuel or oil in the water. Compliant to: SOLAS 74/96 – LSA Code – IMO Res. MSC 81(70) – Dir. (MED) 2014/90/EU – ISO 15736:2006
The VULCAN distress signal complies with the requirements of the SOLAS 74/96 convention. Designed to withstand various weather conditions, it can float on water. Extremely simple to operate, ignition guaranteed by a pull wire system. Produces dense orange smoke for over 180 seconds. Used to indicate position and can also indicate wind direction during rescue operations.
