The MANOVERBOARD – JHLS-4 nautical distress signal complies with the requirements of SOLAS 74/96. Designed to withstand a wide range of weather conditions and to operate reliably even after immersion in water. Equipped with a bracket that allows it to be placed close to a lifebuoy and a rope to attach it to the buoy, the smoke activates automatically when the signal comes out of the bracket and the light activates when it comes into contact with the water. It produces dense orange smoke for 15 minutes and a 2-candela white light for 2 hours.
